Just realised I renewed my subscription until my mid-sixties : -) Now I sure hope to live that long to enjoy my brand new 25 GB.

My subscription is not due for renewal until next September (2021).
Will my storage capacity be doubled when I renew at that time?

Hope you are all safe and that 2021 be all that 2020 couldn’t be.
Like you can see there are a lot of users that have concerns about the way the quota update will occur in their particular cases.
Please apply this quota increment to all accounts instead of waiting for a renewal.
This could be our Christmas present.

The doubling of your account’s storage quotas will take effect the first time you purchase or renew a subscription during or after October 2020.
You may renew your subscription at any time as the purchased subscription time will be added to the end of your existing subscription, whenever that might be.
We may reconsider how the storage quota doubling is being implemented as we progress and monitor the utilization of the new quotas. 🙂
If I am understanding this correctly you have to convert your trial account into a paid account within 24 hours in order to receive the double quota increase? I am reading some of the replies here and I see you also just mentioned that it would apply to new accounts. In addition to this the main page shows news from oct 2020 so it is confusing for people to understand whether or not they apply for the double quota bonus. Is it 24 hours or any new / previous account that get the double quota bonus added to their account?
Can you shed some light on this? Thanks
Your account will be upgraded to the new (double) storage quotas regardless of when you subscribe (or renew).
If you subscribe (convert from trial to paid account) within 24 hours you also get one extra year added to your subscription for free.
