We have made many improvements to the Runbox 7 app over the past months, and in this post we highlight some recent changes and enhancements we’ve made to the service.

💡 To enable the new features, please ensure that Runbox 7 is updated by reloading it in a web browser or restarting it on your phone.

New Allow and Blocking Functionality

We have added a new Allow Sender and Block Sender option for the mail viewer, along with a sender/domain blocking functionality.

These improved features helps combat spam by letting you block unwanted senders or domains, while ensuring legitimate emails from trusted sources make it to your inbox.

Save Draft as Template

Any draft you create can be saved as a template – perfect if you often send similar messages and want to save time.

The template is saved in your Templates folder.

Drag & Drop Files and Images

You can now drag and drop images and files directly into the message window – making it faster and easier to add visuals and documents to your emails.

Simply drag a file over the attachment area, and you’ll see a “Drop files here” prompt. Drop your file, and it uploads automatically.

You can drag and drop images right in the message body area as well.

You can also drag images into the attachment area and then add it to the message manually by clicking the Image icon in the message body toolbar and selecting it from the list of files.

New Layout on Plans & Upgrades

We have updated the Plans & Upgrades page with a cleaner design to make it easier for users to compare features and pricing to find the right plan. This page now reflect our new discounted 3 year plans.

Alias Page

We have upgraded the Runbox 6 Aliases page to Runbox 7, which means that you can now add and manage your aliases within Runbox 7. The new layout makes it easier to configure your aliases, and to take advantage of the 100 free aliases you get with your Runbox account!

💡 Make sure you refresh the app to enable the new features.

If you are reading this, you probably already know that we are a small, independent company. Some updates are taking longer than we would wish to complete, but we are actively working on upgrades big and small. It’s a gradual process, and we are excited about things to come and look forward to sharing more updates in the near future.

For developers, all updates can be found at GitHub.
